autoscopy project- seeing yourself in a different perspective

My final piece was exported in many various ways. First, I exported it as a .jpg in 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 0% quality. Then, I exported it as a .gif and explored various color palettes and amounts and dithering.


Throughout my life I've always struggled with self image. For this project I decided to portray my mirror image as the devil. While I may have always thought I feared judgement from other people, I've really always been my own biggest critic and hater. I had so much fun taking the photo for this project and playing with the mirror and different body/face and camera angles.

I loved the idea of using an owl when looking through inspiration. My name also means "small and wise" so I thought it was a perfect representation of myself.

Multiplicity

  Incorporated 6 images of myself into one.  This project was challenging but so fun! I changed shirts for each version of myself to add some contrast to the final piece, but tried to keep it all within the same color palette. This project definitely forced me to get better at using masks in photoshop.
