Autoscopy

Image
autoscopy project- seeing yourself in a different perspective My final piece was exported in many various ways. First, I exported it as a .jpg in 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 0% quality. Then, I exported it as a .gif and explored various color palettes and amounts and dithering. Throughout my life I've always struggled with self image. For this project I decided to portray my mirror image as the devil. While I may have always thought I feared judgement from other people, I've really always been my own biggest critic and hater. I had so much fun taking the photo for this project and playing with the mirror and different body/face and camera angles.  image from clipartkey.com used

Multiplicity

Incorporated 6 images of myself into one.  This project was challenging but so fun! I changed shirts for each version of myself to add some contrast to the final piece, but tried to keep it all within the same color palette. This project definitely forced me to get better at using masks in photoshop.

Black and White to Color

My first project using photoshop! This definitely was not my strongest piece but I got to explore the challenges of creating masks with photoshop layers. For this project I chose 3 different color palettes, each with 5 colors. I love the contrasts in each of the palettes I chose.
