Inspired by my love for the Joker, this project idea of having half of my face appear to be in clown makeup came to me randomly one night and I knew I had to make it awesome. This is without a doubt one of my favorite pieces I've ever created. The color palette was chosen to reflect bright, circus-like colors.

Autoscopy

  autoscopy project- seeing yourself in a different perspective My final piece was exported in many various ways. First, I exported it as a .jpg in 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 0% quality. Then, I exported it as a .gif and explored various color palettes and amounts and dithering. Throughout my life I've always struggled with self image. For this project I decided to portray my mirror image as the devil. While I may have always thought I feared judgement from other people, I've really always been my own biggest critic and hater. I had so much fun taking the photo for this project and playing with the mirror and different body/face and camera angles.  image from clipartkey.com used
