Final Canvas Project...based on the eyes of Doctor T.J. Eckleburg featured on the book cover of the Great Gatsby


This project was NOT EASY!!! but, when all was done I honestly really enjoyed it and I feel like I learned so much. It was not perfect at all, but the creative process was really fun and there are some elements that I really liked in the end (the gradients of the sky and the city skyline in particular).

  logos in positive and negative, horizontal and vertical business cards, and application of the logo to 3D primitives- potential promotional products I decided to use "wise" for my final piece because I've always been told that I have a lot of wisdom for my age when it comes to weighing out situations. I loved the idea of using an owl when looking through inspiration. My name also means "small and wise" so I thought it was a perfect representation of myself.

Multiplicity

  Incorporated 6 images of myself into one.  This project was challenging but so fun! I changed shirts for each version of myself to add some contrast to the final piece, but tried to keep it all within the same color palette. This project definitely forced me to get better at using masks in photoshop.
